The ability to marry artwork with a structural design is one of the most fundamental requirements of packaging design. Accuracy is everything and the fully integrated Impact Graphics feature makes sure that you are able to check that artwork fits as it should.

The creation of a structural design in Impact is usually how the process of artwork production begins. Once complete, the geometry can be saved in a choice of up to 30 industry standard graphics file formats and passed on to graphic designers who will use them as 100% CAD-accurate artwork templates.

Exported geometry can include annotation and retain palette characteristics, such as cut lines, crease line, perforations, varnish free areas etc., so the graphic designer always knows where he can and cannot go!

In the matter of a few key strokes, artwork can be imported back into Impact and placed accurately in relation to the structural design geometry. Thereafter, you can produce print cards, nested layouts fully inclusive of print information which can then be used to highlight potential print problems, or even a fully rendered 3D model.

Seamless integration between Impact's 2D and 3D environments allows you to modify artwork in the 2D layer, and update the 3D layer instantly.
