Impact Report Creator

The Impact Report Creator feature allows users to design custom templates for a variety of report types, such as drawing specifications, print cards and assembly instructions. All of this available in your department, plant, region or global enterprise, Impact is the only system that was built from the ground up with the enterprise in mind.

Impact report templates are quick and easy to produce, because they are created using Impact’s standard drawing toolset giving users complete control over layout, use of type style, type size and colour. This also means that if you know how to draw in Impact, you can create an Impact report template!

An Impact report can include a company logo, contact details and a host of customer and project related data extracted directly from the Impact Database. Users can create reports which feature single designs, nested layouts, interactive 3D PDF models, or a combination of all three. The information contained within an Impact report can include any data stored in the Impact Database including dimensions, variable values, calculations, and database user fields, such as customer, designer name, revision number, date created etc.

If you need to run a report on a saved project, you can do it directly from the Impact Browser and once the report criteria is set, you can even save the setting for repeated use. In fact, there's no limit to the number of report settings you can create to facilitate easy access and fast implementation. Impact Reports can be output to a printer or as a PDF file for deployment by email.
