Impact Viewer

The Impact Viewer is a software utility that provides Impact users with an easy way to improve communication with their colleagues, customers and suppliers.  The Impact Viewer can be used in two ways.

The first is as a desktop viewer, which is available free of charge.  Having finished a project, users can attach it to an email created directly within Impact, and send it to whoever needs to see it.  The recipient can open the project in the Impact Viewer, see every layer with or without artwork (including 3D), measure all aspects of the design geometry, and print it.  The integrity of the geometry is guaranteed, because the viewer is not permitted to make any amendments.  There's absolutely no need to worry about security either, because Impact Viewer files are fully encrypted and can only be opened by the licence of Impact they were originally created with.

The second is as a database viewer.  This allows the Impact Viewer to be connected to the live Impact Database, so that the user can search and browse for projects, run database queries, and output an Impact Report.

Whichever way you use the Impact Viewer, it works on a ready-only basis.
