Arden Software recognises that different designers like to work in different ways. Therefore, it has created an environment in Impact Design that can be tailored to suit any taste and make working with Impact an absolute pleasure, whether you are a seasoned professional or a complete novice.

Impact Design’s drawing and editing tool set is comprehensive, powerful, and fully interactive to maximise ease of use, provide continuous feedback, and reduce the prospect of geometric error. In fact, when used in conjunction with Impact Design Components, new drawings can be created faster than with any other packaging design application.

On completion, designs are saved into the Impact Database and can be opened at any time for modification or revision. Drawings can be dimensioned at any time in preparation for conversion to a parametric model or custom standard using the Impact Standard Creator module, inclusion in an Impact Report, or to be exported for a graphic designer to use as an artwork template.

Impact Design includes a range of automatic enquiry tools that are dedicated to packaging and die making applications. They include tools for calculating rule length, blank areas, one-up areas, and waste areas. Calculations are instant and results will be saved into the Impact Database or exported to a third party business system.

Import/Export in standard graphics and manufacturing formats, such as PDF, CFF2, DDES3, DXF, DWG etc.
