Blanker Creator
Blanker Creator takes all the stress out of the manufacture of blanking tools. This feature uses a combination of pre-defined settings, symbols, and symbol patterns, to help users to create high performance, production ready tooling.
Blanker Creator gives users the ability to add their own custom settings to meet even the most demanding requirements. Impact Blanker Creator places frames using a combination of special symbols and symbol patterns that ensure full jogger utilisation. Longitudinal and transverse bars are placed relative to the layouts common knives.
Irrespective of whether you are manufacturing a wooden or steel blanker, the female outer profile is created automatically relative to the frame bars with allowances for inside or outside offsets from the layout extents. Powerful editing tools are available and allow users to identify perimeter offsets to shape the wood.
The male upper section for each blanker station is positioned with a single click of the mouse. Once placed, a user has the freedom to change the contour to reflect the shape of the one-up design using a combination of edit bar offsets and mouse gestures. To aid placement on the female wood, customisable upper location symbols can be placed on both the top and bottom blanker units. Specify the required offset and line type and the rubber for the male upper will be created automatically and saved to a predefined layer in the Impact project ready for manufacturing.
As each blanker component is created it is automatically sent to a separate Impact project layer, which allows for fast editing and accurate output to post-processing. Layers can also be viewed simultaneously to check for registration and quality control.
