Job Type: Full-time apprenticeship
Location: Marple, Stockport (HQ)
Start Date: Circa 12.08.19
Hours: 37.5 per week (there will be some flexibility with start/finish times to take into account public transport
Salary: £187.50 per week
Holidays: 26 days holiday plus Bank Holidays (3-4 days to be taken as part of Christmas shutdown)

Arden Software is an industry leading software provider based in Marple, Stockport providing bespoke CAD/CAM and design workflow solutions to the packaging industry. We are looking for an Office Administrator Apprentice to assist our office with admin support.

An apprenticeship provides a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and earn as you learn. You’ll be joining a dynamic and rapidly growing organisation with offices around the world including America, Denmark, Germany and India.

 

Job description 

The main duties are:

  • General business administration
  • Setting up meeting rooms
  • Reception duties including answering phones and greeting visitors
  • Managing stock levels and ordering new stock
  • Filing
  • Liaising with colleagues in overseas offices
  • Scheduling meeting rooms

This will lead to tasks such as:

  • Generating quotations
  • Sales order processing
  • Invoicing
  • Booking flights and hotels
  • Handling customer/distributor queries
  • Generating software codes for customers/distributors

 

About you:

Candidates must have:

  • Preferred English and Maths 4+ (C or above)
  •  A ‘can do’ attitude and be flexible to help with the needs of the business

Training provided:

  • QCF Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration
  • Functional Skills English Level 1
