This document describes the programming interfaces available from Impact and Impact Browser - nServer is not Python compatible at this time. The interfaces use Microsoft COM (Component Object Model) technology.

If you are trying to familiarise yourself with Impact scripts, there are many Python examples throughout this documentation that you can copy into the Impact Script Toolbox to run - make sure to switch to the Python language mode. Before writing your own scripts, it helps to get acquainted with the main Impact Objects.
