Arden Software has once again been supporting aspiring packaging design engineers with their career development.
Our North America division (ASNA) recently donated 26 Impact Designer Professional licences to the International Corrugated Packaging Foundation (ICPF). These licences will be used by students on the Graphic Technology course at the University of Northern Iowa (UNI), helping them gain hands-on experience with industry-standard software.
UNI is shifting the focus of its Graphic Technology course towards the packaging industry, and this donation ensures that students have access to cutting-edge software that reflects industry standards.
ASNA President Jim Silianoff said: “Arden Software is proud to support ICPF and educational institutions like the University of Northern Iowa.
“We believe that providing students with access to industry-standard tools, such as our Impact software, is crucial in equipping the next generation of packaging professionals with the skills they need to succeed. Our partnership with ICPF allows us to contribute to the development of a highly trained workforce, ensuring a bright future for the packaging industry.”
Lee Geisinger, Assistant Professor at UNI added: “Impact is recognised as an industry-standard application that aligns seamlessly with our program’s goals. Its features and capabilities will complement our existing curriculum, exposing students to advanced tools, enhancing their proficiency in packaging design, and preparing them for careers in the corrugated packaging industry.”
Arden Software also recently donated an Impact Designer Professional licence to ICPF for Pittsburg State University’s Graphic Communications course significantly advancing students’ ability in corrugated production.
Caitlin Salaverria, ICPF President said: “As an industry sponsored foundation, ICPF has worked for almost 40 years to advance student and faculty knowledge of the industry and to promote development of a highly trained workforce.
“We’re grateful for the generous support and commitment from ICPF Corporate Partner Arden Software. With their help, we’ve provided over $20 million in design software at educational institutions nationwide and look forward to continuing our efforts over the coming years.”
