Arden Software has teamed up with partners HYBRID Software to integrate our leading software products.

Pre-press editing software PACKZ 5.0 now supports our packaging design CAD software Impact, with the ability to set up a connection to the Impact CAD database through our nService product.

This latest innovation provides convenient access to PACKZ users who can now browse, import and directly open nested step and repeat CAD files produced in Impact.

Matthew Hewitt, Business Development Manager at Arden Software, said: “Thanks to our partnership with HYBRID Software, users of their professional editing software can now benefit from the eagerly-anticipated integration of our PACKZ and Impact software solutions.

“The advantages for users mean you can now benefit from a secure web-based solution, removing the need for manual file exchange, whilst offering a convenient browse and search function, enabling you to quickly locate your required designs.

“To take that a stage further, following initial feedback we’ve had from our early adopting customers, we’re now looking to add round-trip support between the two products with the aim of offering a live preview which will show how changes may affect the finished packaging.”

This solution is available for all users of PACKZ 5.0 or later versions, but a PACKZ link option based on nService is required from Arden.
