The latest version of Arden’s packaging design software Impact now offers a plug-in for Adobe Illustrator.

The leading graphic design software is compatible with Impact 2019 for the first time, providing a better template for the production of artwork, making it easier to get Impact structural files into Illustrator while preserving the Impact layers and spot colours.

Matthew Hewitt, Arden’s Business Development Manager, said: “We’re confident this exciting new development in our Impact software will simplify the user experience for graphic designers and art-workers who have been calling for integration between the two products for some time.

“We’re delighted to make this vision a reality and the Impact plug-in for Adobe Illustrator represents the first phase of Illustrator plug-ins and we intend to keep enhancing its feature set in combination with future releases of Impact.”

The plug-in, which is compatible with Windows and Mac platforms, is available now for free to all our existing customers, including their customers and suppliers, and is initially compatible with Impact 2019.
